Here are some of the most commonly asked questions we get about web sites along with our answers.

Web Site Design

What makes a good website design?
Balance content with a pleasing design. Keep a consistent navigation system on all pages. Dont put too much text on one page. Use good graphics, but use them sparingly. Keep any animation to a minimum unless specifically requested by the user.

What is included in a website design?
The answer to this depends on who you are talking to. Technically the design of a website includes the graphics, coding, and content of a website.

Can I design my own website?
Yes. Anyone can learn to design a website. The question to ask yourself is do you want to learn how to do design your website? Depending on what your goals are this may be fairly easy or it may involve hundreds of hours of research, learning, and practice. A good analogy would be home building. Could you build your own house? Sure! But do you want to? It will take a certain amount of learning and practice to build a very simply house. But a larger home with complex roof angles, modern convienences, and a variety of materials and construction would take many years to learn to do. Consider your goals, the amount of time you have, your interest in website design, and the value you put on your time.
